On October 8,2025,the BIS of the US Department of Commerce officially updated the list of entities,including 26 entities including 16 enterprises in Chinese mainland and 3 addresses in Hong Kong,China.The list spread to China subsidiaries of several international electronic component distributors,which triggered a shock in the global power semiconductor industry.
One of the core focuses of this incident is Nexperia,the world's leading power semiconductor company.The company was involved in the regulatory disputes among China,the Netherlands and the United States,highlighting the complex operational risks faced by the global high-tech industry under the influence of geopolitics.This move is expected to have a profound impact on the global chip supply chain pattern.
